Cagliari, truck breaks trolleybus cables: two damaged cars and haywire traffic

As if the roads closed due to the construction sites in progress were not enough: in Cagliari the road system this morning suffered further inconvenience due to the breakdown of the Ctm trolleybus overhead line in viale Merello.

A truck, around 10, in fact, hit and broke some cables, which ended up on two cars that were damaged.

The intervention of the local police patrols and the Ctm teams was immediate to quickly restore the trolleybus line. In viale Merello, long queues were immediately created with repercussions on traffic also in via Is Mirrionis, via Cadello, via Campania and viale San Vincenzo.
