In Cagliari, more than a thousand people queued in Piazza Garibaldi to receive the anti-Covid vaccine, as part of the “open” day - without reservation - of administration, organized by Ats.

Just Ats had estimated 500 doses, but the request turned out to be much greater. For this reason the operators have started to commute with the hub of the Fair to provide additional vaccines.

For the initiative in Piazza Garibaldi a sort of temporary mini “health citadel” was set up with a gazebo and a stand for the reception, the medical history and the administration. About fifty doctors and nurses are involved.

The administration is aimed at everyone, including non-residents and foreigners who have been invited to the event with cards (including social cards) translated into eight languages: the aim is to consolidate, together with the activity of the hubs and territorial vaccination points, the acceleration of the vaccination campaign.

"The expectations have been exceeded - the comment of the extraordinary commissioner Ats Massimo Temussi - perhaps the race to be ready for October 15th has helped us. But the fact remains that once again the team has shown that it is the sixth in Italy".

On the ramparts, on the other hand, about 200 “no vax” and “no green pass” people gathered.
