That tree is sick and has become too dangerous. For this reason, tomorrow, March 29, «the safety works will take place with cutting and eradication of the stump of a specimen of Ficus retusa planted in Piazza del Carmine», in Cagliari.

The intervention, authorized by the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, the Municipality states, "was necessary for safety reasons due to the no longer recoverable conditions of the trees".

Subsequently "in the appropriate season, we will proceed with the planting of arboreal specimen of the same species".
