The Art Nouveau buildings, the large ficus trees and the redeveloped road. In Cagliari, Viale Trieste, in the stretch from Piazza del Carmine to Via Pola, has changed its face, acquiring a charm unknown until now. The request is always the same: "The Region and the Municipality should not think only for their own little garden, they should make available to us the public parking lots that are deserted in the evenings and on weekdays."

"Customers don't come anymore because they don't know where to park, " says Italo Sulliotti, who opened his business in 1962. "We've lost 60 percent of our turnover." Why? "We also sell bulky goods and the car must necessarily be nearby."
