Cagliari, the plane activates the in-flight alarm procedure: emergency vehicles on the runway.

Rescue vehicles were in action this afternoon at the “Mario Mameli” airport in Elmas , where a Ryanair Boeing 737, departing from Palermo and headed for Rabat, landed at the Cagliari airport after the pilot requested the activation of the alarm procedure .

The aircraft was engaged in a technical flight and there were no passengers on board. As required by safety protocol, the appropriate response was activated, with the intervention of the fire brigade.

The nautical and diving units, the headquarters team and five vehicles from the airport detachment intervened on site.
