A DeLorean parked in the heart of the Fair marks the start of the winter edition of the Vintage Market, inaugurated today in Cagliari and open until December 8th.

DeLorean

An unusual, almost alienating image that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the event: a journey through time between fashion, pop culture, and cinematic memory.

Now in its seventh edition , the December market takes up the baton of the summer version, offering a broader program and a strong thematic focus.

This year, the underlying theme is vintage cinema, a universe told through props, iconic costumes, historic posters, and a selection of vinyl soundtracks.

The highlight for visitors remains the presence of the DeLorean DMC-12 made famous by Back to the Future . This is the car's first visit to Sardinia, and its display is attracting a diverse audience, including film buffs, collectors, and the simply curious.

Alongside the cinematic theme, the fair maintains its traditional structure: stalls selling vintage clothing and accessories, toys, watches, comics, vinyl records, and rare objects, along with a section dedicated to creative crafts and retro reuse.

The exhibition also features displays of motorcycles , Vespas, and vintage cars, as well as an area dedicated to modeling, art workshops, and educational events. For lovers of the 1980s and 1990s, there's also an arcade area with vintage arcade machines and games.

The calendar of events includes classic Vespa maintenance lessons , a model-making competition, a Star Wars saga event, Ghostbusters cosplayers, airsoft activities, and swing sessions, with classes open to the public. Stands and workshops will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. until Monday, December 8th.
