Cagliari, the curtain falls on the 2025 Tattoo Convention.
Three days of art, ink, and urban culture at the Fair, with thousands of visitors.Nel video l'intervista di Mauro Madeddu a Milly Macis
If it's true that a tattoo is forever, then this edition of the Tattoo Convention will also leave an indelible mark on the skin—and in the hearts—of the thousands of visitors who flocked to the fifteenth edition of the event, which officially closes at midnight.
For three days, the pavilions of the Fiera Internazionale della Sardegna on Viale Diaz became the center of art, music, and urban crossover. A melting pot of styles, needles, and souls, where the boundaries between body and canvas dissolved before the eyes of a diverse audience: curious onlookers, enthusiasts, families, collectors, and artists shared spaces, emotions, and stories.
What conquered Cagliari over the past three days, however, was not just a simple tattoo fair : it was a sensory journey, a celebration of identity through art.
Among the pavilions, Italian and international tattoo artists put on a show with needles and colors, transforming arms, backs, and legs into living works of art. Some observed in silence, fascinated by the detail and precision, while others chose to trust their instincts, choosing to imprint an indelible memory on their skin.
Each station was a microcosm: traditional Japanese styles, hypermodern geometric lines, goosebump-inducing realism, and signature lettering. In the background, vibrant DJ sets, the spicy aromas of international street food, and the energy of a constantly bustling crowd.
All the details and interviews in Mauro Madeddu's article in L'Unione Sarda, available tomorrow at newsstands and on the Unione Digital app.
