It had flooded at the end of last January, when the rupture of a water main in the Via del Cammino Nuovo above had put the church of Santa Chiara in Cagliari , just above Piazza Yenne, under water.

Almost a year later, the Municipality is moving with a 300 thousand euro intervention "in great urgency", so we read in the resolution, "for the safety of the church of Santa Chiara, the wooden altar and the external walls".

Precisely that of masonry would be the most robust item, with an investment of 100 thousand euros for consolidation.
