Protest explodes in the Eleonora d'Arborea high school in Cagliari. Around 400 students (out of 1600), mostly girls who are the vast majority of those enrolled, decided to desert lessons and gathered in the school courtyard in via Carboni Boi.
The dispute, the representatives say, derives from a deterioration of relations with the institute's management. Among other things, they say, a new regime for recess has been imposed on the classes: only two can leave the class at a time, the service of providing paid meals would not be guaranteed and there would also be no vending machines.
Dialogue was attempted several times, they say, but no answers of any kind were received. Hence the decision to invade the courtyard area, peacefully, awaiting responses to the numerous claims.
