Optimism is evident on both sides following the new meeting at Palazzo Bacaredda between the Zedda administration and Cagliari Calcio regarding the new stadium project.

"The meeting went well, we've come closer," said Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini as he left the town hall. He added: "There are now very few issues to resolve. Most of them didn't concern financial problems, but rather some legal issues, and above all the bankability of the operation, which involves a debt component, and therefore the agreement must also be drafted to protect the banks that will finance the project. But we hope," Giulini concluded, "that the issue of the agreement will also be resolved by tomorrow."

Sports Councilor Giuseppe Macciotta also described the meeting with the Rossoblu club as "positive." "Now," he stated, " we're trying to close the circle as quickly as possible."
