"There's a fight, come." This is the tenor of the call that arrived this afternoon at the Police Headquarters switchboard in Cagliari . The Volante officers rushed to the place where the beating had been reported, a car park in via Cinquini. Here they found the victim of the attack and a picture emerged that could lead to the identification of the alleged person responsible for the fire that broke out shortly before on the San Michele hill, already devastated by flames last 26 July.

The victim of the attack, according to an initial reconstruction, was discovered while setting the fire inside the fenced park. An outbreak was also recorded in via Serpieri. Thus the blows flew, accrued in the context of a "private" settling of accounts.

The firefighters and three teams of volunteers from Quartu and Assemini also arrived on site. Helicopter intervention was also requested.

The flames covered just under half a hectare of land under the pine forest, finding little "fuel": the same area had been hit a few weeks ago and the vegetation did not have time to regrow.

The injured man was helped by the operators of an 118 ambulance . At the moment no measures have been taken against him: police officers are working to reconstruct exactly what happened. And, if so, to understand whether there are links to the fire in July.
