Serious accident last night on Via della Pineta, in Cagliari, near Piazzetta Maxia, where an SUV and a scooter collided .
The worst hit was a couple in their 50s who were traveling on the two-wheeler. Emergency services responded immediately. Both sustained serious injuries. The man was transported to Brotzu Hospital with a red code, while the woman was also transported to the Policlinico Hospital . The driver of the car, however, was not injured.
The local police also intervened on site to carry out surveys and reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
