Great emotion this morning for the little patients at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari.
Santa Claus arrived shortly after 10 a.m., laden with gifts for the children in the emergency room and pediatric wards, accompanied by the Coast Guard's "NEMO" helicopter.
The initiative, promoted by the Coast Guard to provide a moment of joy and serenity to children forced to spend the Christmas holidays in hospital, was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Maritime Directorate of Central and Southern Sardinia, which promoted a charity collection to purchase the gifts.
The fundraiser was made possible thanks to the participation of all the Commands under the Maritime Directorate of Central-Southern Sardinia, including the Coast Guard Commands of Arbatax, Bosa, Carloforte, Oristano, Portoscuso, Sant'Antioco, and Villasimius, as well as the Operational Commands of the 4th Coast Guard Helicopter Flight Section of Decimomannu and the 4th Diving Unit of Cagliari.
