Visitors to Monte Claro Park in Cagliari have reported the presence of rats in recent days, prompting the Metropolitan City of Cagliari to order an emergency intervention this morning. Operations began at 7:30 a.m., when technicians from the Insect Control Center arrived on site to begin the rodent control.
The intervention aims to address the sanitation issues reported by park visitors, particularly families, athletes, and children . Martino Sarritzu, environmental delegate for the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, confirmed the prompt action to ensure the safety and health of the green area. The rodent control program will focus on the most critical areas, such as those near bushes and along paths, to contain rodent proliferation.
All citizens are advised to pay attention during operations and to collaborate in keeping the park clean , avoiding leaving waste or food that could attract rats.
