A 26-year-old man arrested by the State Police on charges of sexual assault.
The abuse allegedly took place on board a cruise ship docked in the port of Cagliari .
The agents of the Maritime Border Police intervened on the recommendation of the ship's Commander, who was the first to receive the victim's report.
The latter was accompanied to the hospital for medical treatment and psychological support , as required by the so-called “Pink Agenda”.
The investigations, also carried out with the intervention of the Specialists of the Scientific Police, made it possible to collect serious evidence against the alleged perpetrator, against whom pre-trial detention was ordered in prison.
