Cagliari, raid of wine bottles at the supermarket: couple arrested

Two people arrested in Cagliari for aggravated theft and possession of burglary tools.

This is a 42-year-old and a 41-year-old from Santadi, who raided bottles of wine (worth almost 400 euros) from the Iperpan supermarket in Viale La Playa.

When they passed the crates trying to escape, with the bottles hidden under their clothes, they were stopped by the security staff and, after the 112 alarm, the police also arrived on site.

During the search, in addition to the bottles, returned to the market, a clipper and a 12 centimeter long switchblade turned up.

For this reason the couple was arrested and placed under house arrest, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
