"Goliardia, idiocy or hypothesis of crime? Unacceptable signs have appeared in the bathrooms of Palazzo Regio in Cagliari . We ask that references to the fascist era that appeared in the institutional headquarters of the metropolitan city of Cagliari be removed immediately. What a shame".
This is the post on Facebook with which the Circolo Pd Copernico of Cagliari denounced the appearance, on the doors of the toilets of Palazzo Regio, of some signs indicating "Per Signori" and "Per Signore" reproducing those used during the twenty years , with lots of of symbols of the fasces .
After the complaint, the Metropolitan City of Cagliari intervened: "The company in charge of managing the Palazzo Regio in Cagliari has removed the signs posted at the entrance to the public toilets located inside the building", reads a Note.
"Following an immediate investigation of the issue, it was found that the signs were posted by an employee of the aforementioned company , who acted independently without any authorization to do so", then specifies the press release from the Metropolitan City.
And again: “Any disciplinary measures against the employee are currently being evaluated. The Metropolitan City of Cagliari firmly repudiates any reference to fascism and will ensure that episodes like the one that happened do not have to occur again in the future ”.
