"Full understanding" between the municipalities of Quartu Sant'Elena, Quartucciu and Cagliari on the hypothesis of the metro to and from the capital with destination Quartu.

The proposal was accepted during a coordination meeting which saw the presence of the mayors of the three municipalities concerned, the representatives of Arst and the Region.

The route - From the Is Pontis Paris junction point, the route will pass behind the Carrefour-Le Vele shopping center, returning to the entrance to Viale Marconi at Via Maiorana, and then continue towards the town.

Satisfaction was expressed by the mayor of Quartu Graziano Milia who spoke of a "bearable deviation" from the needs of the third Sardinian city, for which "the fastest possible connection speed to and from the capital remains a priority".

"I express in my name and in the name of the councilors present today in the meeting the appreciation for the commitment so far made by the Region and the Regional Transport Company and which has been reiterated today for the subsequent steps, which will include a study of pre-feasibility and subsequent urban planning ”, explained the mayor Milia again.
