Cagliari Primavera: Here's the New Staff

The news from the past few weeks has been confirmed: Cagliari's Primavera team continues with Alberto Gallego on the bench.

Everything around him is changing. Ivan Moretto is joining as assistant coach: he follows Max Canzi to Asseminello after sharing the final stages of their respective careers with the new youth sector director.

Matteo Mancosu , who coached the Under-17s last year and later worked with Pisacane, continues his journey through the Rossoblù youth teams. He will also have the same role in the "new" Primavera team.

The athletic part will be entrusted to Lorenzo Monticelli , who has played in Pontedera in Serie C for the last four years, supported by Nicolas Lotta , who has been confirmed.

The goalkeeping coach has also changed: Fabrizio Martellotta from Bari returns to Sardinia, having worked in Olbia between 2018 and 2024.
