From June 25th to 27th, Cagliari is preparing to host Sardinia Pride, which this year has chosen "The Strength of Disorder" as its motto, a political declaration that asserts the right to freedom, to express dissent, and to the visibility of LGBTQIA+ people.

For three days, the Parco della Musica will become the beating heart of the event with Pride Park, a space open to the public that will host cultural, sporting, artistic, and social activities, public meetings, book presentations, workshops, music, shows, and opportunities for discussion.

The highlight will be the large parade on Saturday 27 June , when thousands of people will pass through the centre of Cagliari, colouring the city streets with flags, music, slogans and demands.

The 2026 edition is dedicated to Anna Corona , the recently deceased historic activist of Arc and one of the founders of AGedO Cagliari, whom the Sardegna Pride coordination has symbolically chosen as this year's patroness. A role model for many families and parents who have chosen to support their LGBTQIA+ sons and daughters, Anna Corona is remembered as an example of commitment, acceptance, and the fight for a more just and free society.

Pride Park will open on Thursday, June 25th and Friday, June 26th from 5:30 pm , while on Saturday, June 27th it will be open from 4:00 pm. Among the scheduled initiatives are workshops for boys and girls with Kids&Us and Famiglie Arcobaleno, creative activities, yoga sessions, among other things, as well as the presence of Lila Cagliari with free HIV tests and information and prevention activities.

There will also be opportunities for reflection and discussion, as well as a strong focus on performances, music, and, of course, the parade. The rally is scheduled for Parco della Musica, where the parade will depart after the reading of the full joint political document from the Sardegna Pride coordination committee. It will follow a route of approximately six kilometers, symbolically bringing the Pride back to Via Roma, one of the city's most iconic thoroughfares.
