Cagliari, nightmare row and tension in the station parking lot

There are no parking lots in the center of Cagliari. And the ones available, for a fee, don't always work.

Yesterday was a nightmarish end for motorists who had left their vehicles in the rest area next to the station in Piazza Matteotti. The automatic payment machines began to work in fits and starts and a very long queue was created outside.

Dozens of users waited their turn with (less and less) patience. while the queue unraveled along via Sassari. There were also tensions, dictated by exasperation.

Not an isolated episode: it is not the first time that this disservice has occurred. And the inconveniences are exacerbated in the summer when the center is crowded with citizens of Cagliari and tourists.
