Disappointment for those who, in these early spring days, choose Molentargius Park for a stroll. This green space, located near the access bridge to the Cagliari section, is "locked down" at all four entrances. A sign warns: "Caution, area closed to the public due to danger of falling branches." All the city's gardens are accessible, except the shaded area of the Molentargius-Saline Regional Natural Park, despite the wind emergency having been over for days.

A group of young people forced their way through Entrance 4 this afternoon to kick a ball around on the grassy area. The hope is that the area can be reopened over the weekend and made accessible to everyone, without having to breach the security barriers.
