It happened in Cagliari. The victim, a woman, at the height of a series of harassing and intimidating behaviors, decided to report him.

The demands for money were daily, sometimes reaching €2,000. And, fearing retaliation, she always gave in. She even had to sell a house she owned.

Following the complaint, the Court issued a precautionary detention order, which was executed by Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari San Bartolomeo station, who arrested him and took him to Uta prison. The man is charged with extortion and mistreatment.
