He tried to steal 24 bottles of alcohol and various food items, worth approximately 800 euros, from the supermarket on Viale La Playa without paying.

But last night, a 50-year-old Romanian man, homeless, resorted to using a secure bag to evade the anti-theft system. His movements were monitored by security personnel, who stopped him and alerted the Carabinieri. The officers then arrested him.

During the day, the police also reported a 32-year-old Moroccan resident of San Sperate, but who is, in fact, homeless. He was found in possession of a pair of highly valuable wireless headphones, likely stolen, and investigations revealed he had violated the prefectural order to leave the urban area, issued in November 2025.

Traffic checks conducted by the Carabinieri led to the filing of a report against a fifty-year-old resident of Serramanna who, stopped while driving his car, refused to submit to drug tests. Furthermore, a twenty-four-year-old man from Cagliari was fined for being caught driving with an expired license. Finally, on the drug enforcement front, a twenty-five-year-old man from Monserrato was reported to the Prefecture as a user, having been found in possession of a quantity of hashish for personal use.
