Luigi Patronaggio is the name proposed by the executive commission of the Higher Council of the Judiciary to cover the position of Attorney General of Cagliari.
Patronaggio, current attorney in Agrigento, 62, obtained 5 votes out of 6, those of the councilors Miccichè, Donati, Cascini, Marra, Ciambellini. One vote, that of Councilor Lanzi, instead went to Lucia Musti, deputy attorney general in Bologna.
The word now passes to the plenum of the CSM.
Patronaggio worked for years at the Palermo anti-mafia district directorate dealing with mafia investigations and was a prosecutor for Mistretta.
