Massive mobilization this morning on the Sant'Elia hill, in Cagliari, to rescue a thirty-nine year old Frenchman injured during an excursion towards the Sant'Ignazio fort.

Before reaching the summit, the tourist stumbled into one of the many cavities in the area and suffered fractures that prevented him from continuing on his journey. Hence the call for help.

A 118 crew reached him on foot to the point of the accident: after the first aid, provided on site, the thirty-nine-year-old was recovered with the support of the firefighters and transported by ambulance to Brotzu, assigned a yellow code.
