He was cared for, with the support of the Red Cross and volunteers who never left him without a hot meal or coffee. But the living conditions there, under the median, across from the former Agip Motel, were unacceptable.

That's why today the City Council stepped in and found new housing for the homeless Giuseppe, who had been living among the garbage "under a bridge" for some time. And that's not just a figure of speech.

"Today, a situation involving a vulnerable person who had been living in severely deprived conditions for years has finally been resolved," explains Anna Puddu, City Councilor for Social Policies.

"Thanks to the joint work of the administration's departments (social policies, soil hygiene, and local police) and the collaboration of the associations that provide daily support to people living in conditions of severe marginalization," added Council member Zedda, "we have resolved the issue."

Special thanks were extended to "Giulia and Giulia's Friends, who actively collaborated to give Giuseppe a new chance at life."
