It has created havoc among pedestrians and motorists in transit in the center of Cagliari. He molested a girl. And finally, he attacked the carabinieri who intervened to identify him. Eventually he ended up under arrest. He is a 37-year-old Bengali, homeless and already known to the police.

After a report on what was happening, the military intervened between via Roma and via Sassari, where the man harassed passers-by and car drivers and where he then targeted a young woman who was standing waiting to cross the road to reach the railway station.

The men of the Arma stopped him asking for his documents, but the 37-year-old, in an evident state of drunkenness, reacted in the worst way: first he pushed one of the two carabinieri, then he tried to kick and punch them, finally relentless against the service car.

The military, however, managed to block him and take him to the barracks in via Nuoro. After identification, the 37-year-old was then taken to the hospital to treat some of the injuries sustained in the fight.

From the emergency room, the next step was the court, for the very direct trial on charges of resisting a public official.
