Cagliari, fire in a parking lot: 5 cars and 2 motorcycles involved

Night of overwork for the Cagliari firefighters, due to a series of fires that enveloped and devastated some cars.

A first intervention was registered in via Capitanata, just before 10pm, where the flames threatened five cars and two motorcycles parked in the underground parking of a building.
Three emergency response teams were on site, two from the headquarters of the Command in Viale Marconi and one from the city detachment based in the port of Cagliari. The operators have taken steps to extinguish the vast fire and to make the area and the structure safe.
As a precaution, the tenants of the apartments in the building were evacuated. There was damage to the facility and vehicles, but fortunately no one was involved. The carabinieri also intervened on the spot.
Men of 115 in action even after midnight in via Santa Gilla, in front of a fuel station due to the fire of a parked car.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and secured the area. A patrol of the State Police is also in action.

For all the interventions, 115 started the investigations and surveys to establish the causes of the fires.
