A concrete gesture that is repeated over time and strengthens the bond with the community. The finance officers of the "Efisio Satta" barracks in Cagliari, headquarters of the Sardinia Regional Command , enthusiastically kicked off another blood donation day this morning.

A gesture that takes on an even more significant meaning as the summer season approaches , a period in which the increase in presences in the area and the physiological reduction in donations make it particularly important to guarantee adequate blood supplies to meet the needs of hospitals and transfusion centers.

The initiative, implemented under the Memorandum of Understanding between the Guardia di Finanza and AVIS Sardinia, is part of the broader goal of strengthening Sardinia's autonomy in the availability of blood and blood products, reducing the need for supplies from other regions and ensuring an increasingly effective and timely response to the needs of the island's healthcare system.

The Fiamme Gialle Donor Group is therefore continuing its commitment, with the aim of further increasing the number of donations made during 2026 and offering a concrete contribution to the island's transfusion centers.

The Regional Commander of Sardinia, Brigadier General Claudio Bolognese, emphasized that the donation represents "a concrete act of support for the community, an expression of the values of solidarity and concern for others that distinguish the Guardia di Finanza's work," highlighting the importance of initiatives capable of offering tangible assistance to those in need.

AVIS representatives expressed their deep appreciation for the Corps' availability and perseverance, recognizing the Fiamme Gialle as a key partner in promoting civic values and solidarity.
