A fire broke out in an apartment on via Corsica in Cagliari , in the Monte Urpinu area.

A thick black smoke has developed in the house, on the second floor of a building, blackening part of the facade.

All the apartments were evacuated to the courtyard in front, while the firefighters got to work with the tankers. No injuries were recorded.

According to the first reconstructions, the fire would have started from an air conditioner : the flames have risen from the external engine which is located in the veranda on the second floor of the building.

According to what is learned in the apartment, now uninhabited, some works were in progress.
