"The Tari is rising, and how." Giuseppe Farris waited a few days to comment, outside the city council chamber, on Cagliari Mayor Massimo Zedda's comments following the approval of the administration's budget: "Taxes remain unchanged," the mayor assured, referring specifically to waste tax.

From the opposition benches, the representative of CiviCa24 even speaks of a "Banda Bassotti" who "celebrate Christmas".

Palazzo Bacaredda's was a "maneuver worth over half a billion euros," explains Farris, "destined to grow thanks to transfers from the State and the Region."

Regarding Zedda's claims, the lawyer elected to lead his civic list says: "As usual, he relied on the fact that the city council wouldn't study the paperwork. And indeed, some councilors, even a couple from the opposition, parroted the point."

In reality, Farris assures us, the Tari is growing: "In 2025, it cost €54,354,263. In 2026, it will rise to €61,950,176, an increase of more than 15%. In 2027, the bill will be €70,072,206.76, thus representing an increase of over 30% compared to 2025."
