The military personnel of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Cagliari have executed a precautionary seizure order issued by the GIP of the Court of Cagliari for approximately 100 thousand euros against a company and its legal representative, of Chinese origin , operating in the retail sector.
The investigation developed after some checks carried out by the Guardia di Finanza for the 2020 and 2021 tax periods , which revealed that the company, using the “carousel fraud” technique, had used invoices for non-existent transactions that allowed it to evade taxes for approximately 210,000 euros and not pay VAT for 47 thousand euros.
Therefore, the seizure of financial assets and company shares for a total amount of 98 thousand euros was ordered.
