Everything is ready at the Sant'Efisio University College in Cagliari for the inauguration of the 2025-2026 academic year, scheduled for Saturday, November 15th at 9:00 a.m. The event will be held in the main hall of the Archbishop's Seminary , at Via Monsignor Cogoni 9. The chosen theme is dedicated to young people: "Behold, I am doing something new...Young people, the novelty that renews the world."
The inauguration represents a significant moment not only for the university community, but also for the diocesan Church, in the context of the comprehensive education of new generations and the educational activity that unites faith, culture, and social responsibility.
The event will be attended by His Excellency Archbishop Giuseppe Baturi of Cagliari ; Professor Gianni Fenu , Deputy Pro-Rector of the University of Cagliari; and Father Emanuele Meconcelli , Director of the University College. Additionally, Professor Paola Bignardi , educator and trainer, will deliver a reflection on the role of young people as a force for renewal in society and the Church.
The initiative is part of the educational and spiritual program of the University College, a diocesan organization that supports students on their university journey and personal growth, fostering an environment of study, community, and discernment.
