A 44-year-old woman living in the Cagliari hinterland has been arrested for conspiracy to commit a continuing fraud in Germany in 2019. The arrest, following an extensive search and investigation, was made yesterday evening by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Cagliari Provincial Command.
The operation was triggered by a tip-off from the International Police Cooperation Service , which activated the procedures for executing the European measure . After a series of checks and stakeouts , the military located the woman and monitored her movements until the intervention.
The 44-year-old, caught by surprise during the search, offered no resistance and cooperated. After the usual formalities, she was transferred to Uta prison.
