North pole schools, the students of the Euclide high school in Cagliari don't fit in. And the first day of class after the Christmas holidays becomes a day of protest.

«We express profound dissatisfaction. The lack of heating in classrooms is unacceptable and is detrimental to the well-being of students and school staff,” say student representatives. And then: «We ask the competent authorities to intervene immediately to resolve this situation, guaranteeing an adequate and safe learning environment. Education is fundamental, and the lack of adequate conditions compromises students' right to quality education. Please consider this statement as representative of widespread concern among the school community."

As a form of protest, the students chose not to enter the classroom and not attend lessons, while those who had already entered chose to leave, despite the risk of disciplinary sanctions, due to the extremely uncomfortable conditions.
