Police in Cagliari arrested a 17-year-old minor and charged an 18-year-old. Both were charged with possession with intent to sell drugs.

The operation began after a prolonged surveillance operation in Piazza Matteotti, during which investigators monitored the movements of several young people in the area for several hours . The officers focused their attention on the minor, who was seen meeting several people in quick succession.

The officers intervened, stopping the young man and carrying out a search: during the checks, several doses of hashish and money believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing were found and seized.

The 17-year-old was then arrested and, by order of the Juvenile Justice Authority, taken to the Quartucciu reception center.

Officers also checked another foreign citizen, aged 18, who was found in possession of several doses of hashish, cocaine, and drugs containing active ingredients listed in the schedules of psychotropic substances. He was reported.
