Cagliari, construction site on Viale La Plaia: traffic jam at the entrance to the city.
Long queues to enter the capital, on a day of considerable influx for the match at the stadiumPer restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Just hours before the Cagliari-Udinese match, which draws fans from all over Sardinia to the stadium, a new construction site is disrupting traffic entering the capital. It opened Wednesday on Via Riva di Ponente, the entrance road leading to Via Roma, which since this morning has also "invaded" Viale La Plaia and further reduced the available lanes.
Vehicles have been at a crawl since this morning, thanks to the (e-distribution) intervention that paralyzed traffic in both directions. And the situation is even more dire today given the significant influx of people for the match , on one of the most heavily used roads (along with the Asse Mediano) to reach the stadium.
The construction site opened on Wednesday: queues were already quite long on the first day, especially during rush hour . But today, with the expansion, traffic has worsened, affecting (in particular) those arriving in Cagliari from the Scafa Bridge and State Road 130.
