On Sunday, June 28th, traffic in the Viale Diaz area will undergo some changes to allow for roadworks. To allow for the work to progress and minimize disruption to motorists, the Municipality has announced some closures and detours.

The initial provisions concern Viale Diaz in the direction of Poetto from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The stretch between Piazza Amendola and Via Sonnino (at the Piazza Amendola roundabout, the first exit after the junction with Via Pirastu) will be completely closed to traffic . Only emergency vehicles and vehicles heading for driveways will be allowed to circulate on this section of road.

The changes will also affect Via Pirastu, where the right lane will be closed for those traveling from Via Campidano toward Viale Diaz. Furthermore, on Via Campidano, the section of road between Via Pirastu and Via Sonnino will temporarily reverse the direction of traffic, and traffic will be managed directly by roadside personnel.

During the same time slot, the provisions of a second ordinance will apply to another stretch of Viale Diaz, also in the direction of Poetto . Specifically, the road will be closed to traffic between Via Sonnino and Viale Cimitero . In this case, traffic will remain guaranteed only for access to driveways and for the passage of emergency vehicles, firefighters, and police.
