A 50-year-old woman living in southern Sardinia was reported by the Cagliari Carabinieri for receiving stolen goods. She was stopped in the early hours of the morning while driving an Alfa Romeo Mito through Piazza Repubblica.

During the inspection, officers noted discrepancies between the vehicle's chassis number and the license plate. Subsequent investigations confirmed that the car had been stolen last October from a 37-year-old woman from Cagliari, who had reported it stolen.

The car has been seized, while the Carabinieri are continuing their investigation to reconstruct the vehicle's provenance and the entire network of responsibilities linked to the theft.
