With an accomplice he had just stolen a backpack with a laptop inside from a parked car. Stopped by patrol officers from the Police Headquarters Flying Squad, he tried to provide a false name.

For this reason, a thirty-one year old from Cagliari was arrested for aggravated theft and reported for false certification to a public official.

The events date back to Tuesday night. The two were noticed while wandering among parked vehicles in via Centrale, in Pirri. At the sight of the police car, one ran away, the other tried to get rid of the backpack. But it was achieved. The agents traced the owner of the PC. The person responsible for the theft was handcuffed and taken to via Amat for identification: he had no documents with him and had tried to provide false identification. An unsuccessful attempt, which cost him another complaint.

Already tried immediately, he was not subjected to any further precautionary measures.
