A traffic accident occurred this morning around 8:15 a.m. on Via Galvani , Cagliari , where a car collided with the light rail system . The driver was a woman, and firefighters rescued her and freed her from the wreckage. An ambulance and municipal police were also on the scene to investigate.

The accident had significant repercussions on city traffic arriving from the Cagliari hinterland, with Viale Marconi in chaos with motorists queuing and long lines of cars.
