For reasons to be ascertained , a car and a van collided in viale Armando Diaz and one of the drivers was seriously injured.
Furthermore, a gas pipe was damaged in the collision between the two vehicles.
After the alarm, the firefighters of the port detachment intervened on the spot, together with the local police and the 118 personnel.
The injured driver was transported to the hospital in code red, while the 115 men proceeded to secure the area, allowing the gas company's technicians to repair the pipe.
Instead, the police took care of the findings useful for ascertaining the exact dynamics of the incident and any responsibilities.
