Burglar caught red-handed in Cagliari while trying to break into the home of a 33-year-old through a window .

The thief, caught in the act by the Carabinieri, tried to flee on foot but was tracked down shortly after by the military while he was trying to hide. He is a 48-year-old resident of Selargius .

After stopping him, the carabinieri searched him and in his backpack they found objects from thefts committed previously in another house . Everything was returned to the rightful owners, who had filed a complaint.

The 48-year-old was reported at large for the crimes of receiving stolen goods and attempted theft.
