A 54-year-old man arrested by the Cagliari police on charges of sexual assault against a woman.

According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the man was begging in front of a supermarket in the city and asked a passerby for some change. When the latter refused to move on, the man allegedly began to harass her insistently, both with words and by placing his hands on her in an attempt to attack her.

Then the alarm went off and the police arrived on the scene, stopping the 54-year-old, putting him in handcuffs.
