Cagliari, bans and changes to traffic for the great pink race

Everything is ready for the SoloWomenRun 2025, the all-female race now in its ninth edition, which on Sunday will fill the streets of Cagliari with thousands of participants.
The event, organized by Asd Cagliari Atletica Leggera, has become a regular event for runners and sports enthusiasts, promoting values of inclusion and solidarity.
To ensure the event is held safely, the Municipality has ordered a series of traffic and parking restrictions that will affect various areas of the city on Sunday.
From 07:00 to 13:00, traffic will be suspended for the time necessary for the passage of the athletes in the following streets.
Historic center and Marina: Viale Regina Margherita, Piazza Costituzione, Via Manno, Largo Carlo Felice, Via Roma, Piazza Amendola.
Bonaria and Poetto area: viale Diaz (both directions, from via Sonnino to piazza Scopigno), piazza Marco Polo, via Ancona, via Messina, via Caboto, viale Bonaria.
Other streets involved: via Nuoro, via Sonnino, via XX settembre, piazza Martiri d'Italia, via Mazzini, piazza Yenne, via Sardegna, via Roma (bus lanes).
The organizers have planned to deploy traffic officials to promptly inform motorists in transit .
Starting from the previous evening, Saturday 15 March at 18:00, the parking ban with forced removal will be in force in some key points of the city, including Viale Diaz, Viale Bonaria, Viale Regina Margherita, Largo Carlo Felice and Via Roma (porticos). The measure will remain in force until 13:00 on Sunday 16 March.
