A carefree evening with friends ended in the worst possible way. It happened last night in Largo Carlo Felice, Cagliari , where a woman was attacked from behind by a man who tried to steal her purse. As she resisted, she was dragged several meters to the ground and hit her head against a wall . Her friend, who was with her, recounted the incident in a post on social media.

As the girl herself, still shaken by the incident, explains, the two had spent the evening at a club in Piazza Yenne and were returning home shortly after midnight. "I sensed a presence behind us and instinctively turned around ," she writes. "I saw a young man attack my friend, grab her, and drag her for a few meters in an attempt to snatch her bag ." The victim, terrified and taken aback, began screaming and struggling. The man, perhaps frightened by the reaction and the screams, fled without managing to grab the bag, walking away toward Rinascente. Immediately afterward , the police were called, who arrived on the scene within minutes. After gathering statements, the two young women were accompanied to the car, and the victim then went to the hospital for checks.

In her story, the friend also describes the shock she experienced in those moments. " I was completely paralyzed by fear ," she writes. And she concludes with an appeal: "No one should be afraid to return home after a night out with friends. In a matter of seconds, a carefree evening turned into a nightmare."
