She had been sick for days. In the afternoon, her condition worsened and her partner, a forty-year-old Sardinian, decided to take her from Selargius by car to the Santissima Trinità Emergency Room where the woman vomited, even blood, and then fainted.

The scene took place in the parking lot of the Is Mirrionis hospital. According to witnesses, the young woman, 23 years old, was approached by some hospital workers, but was not taken inside.

Her partner was asking for help. And to get into the emergency room, he had to call 118. So here is the scene bordering on the surreal: an ambulance was sent from a fixed external station, which reached the hospital, picked up the young woman - who was there a few meters from the entrance - and, perhaps without even going beyond first gear, delivered her to the Santissima Trinità facility. Under the astonished eyes of the forty-year-old who was worried about her.
