Over 53,000 operations (an average of 150 per day), 670 arrests, 3,860 reports and entries in the register of suspects. Furthermore: 600 kilos of drugs seized, 300 confiscated weapons, 500 inspections by the NAS, TPC, NIL, and NOE units, resulting in fines totaling approximately €400,000.

These are the numbers from the activity of the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Cagliari , which is drawing up the budget for 2025, which is now coming to an end.

The report also highlights the handling of 60,000 calls to 112, the access of over 100,000 citizens to barracks and military offices, 35,000 checkpoints, and 373 initiatives in schools, town squares, and parishes, involving students, the elderly, and citizens , demonstrating the military's closeness and "social proximity" to the community. Furthermore, the focus on crimes of mistreatment and stalking against women has led to the activation of the "Red Code" protocol.

Overall, the Command emphasizes, "the analysis of the statistical data paints an overall reassuring picture, with a decrease or substantial stability in so-called 'indicator crimes', such as theft, fraud, and damage, despite some normal seasonal peaks that were quickly contained. The crimes prosecuted and reported by Carabinieri units totaled just over 16,000."

"The year-end balance sheet therefore closes on a positive note," the Command concludes, "based on objective data and daily feedback from citizens. This result does not represent a point of arrival, but rather a solid foundation on which to build future activities and from which to increasingly better direct our multifaceted activities. The goal for the new year will be to further consolidate the model of social proximity and participatory security, strengthen dialogue with local communities, and continue to ensure, through our more than 80 Carabinieri stations, a constant, professional, and deeply human presence at the service of the community, in order to perceive their needs and intervene accordingly to protect the law and ensure everyone's safety."
