«A washing machine in Piazza Matteotti, right in front of Palazzo Bacaredda».
The complaint, complete with photos to document the incident, comes from Fratelli d'Italia regional councilor Corrado Meloni, who continues: "We don't know whether it's a modern work of art that the radical-chic left is so fond of, or a new service that the Municipality's Social Policies have activated due to the significant increase in the number of 'homeless'."
The other hypothesis, "which seems more likely to us, is that this appliance was abandoned and represents the emblem of the failed management of this Zedda administration," accuses the Melonian.
"The unstoppable loss of urban decorum, the increase in filth in the city streets and squares, and the proliferation of social degradation in public places," he concludes, "demonstrate, on the one hand, the mayor's marked disinterest in managing public affairs, and, on the other, the inadequacy of his councilors, who appear incapable of even managing day-to-day administration."
